Over recent years I have been hearing the word Freegan time and time again. The word Freegan is used to represent an Anti - consumerism movement in which its members believe in things like finding shelter through becoming squatters, obtaining food through "rescuing" still good items of food that have been thrown away by restaurants or markets and while the word is a combination of Free and Vegan, not all Freegans are Vegan, however some are and in general many of the ideologies are the same.
Being a Freegan is an interesting idea and concept on many fronts. Our society can tend to be over - indulgent and driven by all things "label" but is being a Freegan safe? Are there health risks?
